I live near the Interstate and I often take a walk in the woods that buffer our home from the highway.

It looks like some hitchhikers or homeless people have been camping out here recently.

Here is a photo from todays walk.

Here are a few photos from my recent visit to Badlands National Park during the middle part of September 2008.

This was a very unique park. It looked otherworldly to me. The weather was beautiful. Very clean clear air, which made it easy for sharp crisp images and few clouds. Almost too few. I think landscape photos look better with at least some clouds.

Another stop on my most recent road trip 2008 was Teton National Park. What a beautiful park. I can’t wait to go back and spend a little more time there. Here are a few of my favorite photos.

I just returned home from a month long photography tour of some of the western National Parks. My last stop was Albuquerque just in time to catch 1 day of the 2008 Balloon Fiesta.

This was a first for me and even though I had to stay another day due to bad weather canceling one days event, it was well worth the wait.

There were so many balloons taking off so frequently it was a blast trying to decide which balloon to shoot and which lens to use.

Here are a few photos of the day. Click on image to view a larger photo.
